EDUCATION: Every child should have an equal opportunity to get a great education; no parent should be forced to send their child to a failing school

  • A one-size-fits-all approach to education does not work. Parents and children must have a variety of options at both the state and local level.
  • More money doesn’t equal better education. Administrative, teacher, and parental accountability combined with higher expectations and standards combined with real choice will help drive improved academic excellence.
  • Rising college costs are unsustainable and harmful to the future of the nation. Increased transparency of college billing and the promotion of alternatives to traditional four-year universities can help drive costs down and provide much needed choice to families and young adults pursuing higher education.
