The History of the GOP

A Message from the County Chairman:

Dear Fellow Republicans,

It is with great excitement for the future of the Stark County Republican Party that I am writing to you. The opportunities that await the local Party are endless. We need a renewed  commitment to the principles of the Republican Party and the basics of governing with those principles. We were once the Party of ideas and vision providing practical solutions to the problems that faced us. I am confident that those of us who care about the future and direction of this country can return us to that position. We will do so together by creating a strong local organization, recruiting  qualified candidates and by providing financial support to those candidates seeking office.

In 2016 we will have the opportunity to take back the Presidency. With the selection of candidates, this will be one of the best opportunities in history to get America back on track. The goal this year is to strengthen the party from within and increase the support from our members. With this financial support and the efforts of our enthusiastic volunteers we will energize the Party. In order to do this, we will continue to host events the County Party hosted in the past such as, the Stark GOP Breakfast, the McKinley Dinner, and the GOP Picnic. However, we still need your help.

With a commitment from you, our Party and our candidates will have the ability to continue our success in Stark County, and work toward taking back the White House. So please join us as supporters and help strengthen our Party and the possibilities for our candidates.

Very truly yours,

Jeff Matthews
Chairman
Stark County Republican Party
